최상중 (崔)
최항의 6세손이며 어모장군을 지낸 최영의 아들이다.
당대의 문신 유희춘의 문하에서 글을 읽고 1576년(선조 9) 사마시를 거쳐
1589년(선조 22) 증광문과에 급제, 검열이 되고
1600년(선조 33) 헌납, 지평을 거쳐 1602년(선조 35) 사간을 마지막으로 벼슬을
버리고 고향으로 돌아갔다.
