시조(始祖) : 김정자(金挺磁)

시조는 신라 경순왕의 9세손이며 고려 때 태자소보(太子小保)를 지냈다고 한다.
  황리(黃利)·여주김씨(驪州金氏)와 같은 근원이라고 전하는 문헌도 있다.
