양산도

  대사성 양응정의 아들이다.

  성혼(成渾)의 문인으로 벼슬에 뜻을 두지 않고 경전 연구에만 전념하여 천문. 지리. 병학에 정통했다.
  1591년(선조 24) 천상을 보고 난리가 있을 것을 예언.
  상소까지하여 대비책을 건의했다가 사람들의 배척을 받았다.
  이듬해 과연 임진왜란이 일어나자 김천일(金千鎰)과 함께 의병을 일으켜 진주(晋州)에서 싸우다 죽었다.

  좌승지에 추증되고,
  나주의 정렬사(旌烈祠),
  진주의 충민사(忠愍祠)에 제향되었다.
